Alhaji Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa, National NASARA Coordinator of the ruling New Patriotic Party, has paid courtesy calls on Imams and Zongo Chiefs in Techiman ahead of the national Nasara conference to be held in the Bono East regional capital as from November 21, this year.
He was accompanied by his deputy, Bono East regional coordinator Alhaji Adamu, regional first vice chairman Alhaji Mohammed Jaga and his executives, Techiman North and South constituency executives, electoral area coordinators and NPP party faithful.
They met the Imams of Techiman and their Sarikis or Zongo/Northern Chiefs of Frafra, Gruma, Sisala, Dagarti, Mamprusi, Konkomba, Wangara, Fulani etc and their Magajiah/Queenmothers.
In an address, Alhaji Futa disclosed his visit was part of preparations towards the national conference which would last from November 21 to 24.
The Bono East regional Imam Alhaji Musah Abdulahi, acting for Techiman Zongo Chief on behalf of his people thanked President Akufo Addo and the government for giving Zongos a Ministry and a Development Fund and pledged their support for the success of the national NASARA conference.
