The Regional Crime officer in-charge of Bono, Ahafo and Bono East Regional Command of Ghana Police, Chief Supt. Nana Kwaku Duah has advised the general public to stop reporting crimes at radio stations.
He said the practice was a major challenge to the command in its quest to curb the rate of crime in the three regions.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Ark News on the sidelines of a swoop conducted by the command in which 12 suspects were arrested, Nana Kwaku Duah disclosed that the command had deployed plain clothed police personnel in the regions.
He said the move was part of measures towards curbing criminal activities as the yuletide approached.
Touching on how well equipped the police is ahead of the Christmas, the crime officer stated they have all the needed logistics as far as police crime combat is concerned.
