The suspect who had been on the police wanted list and was arrested on February 23rd, 2020 is on the run after smacking one of the police officers on duty with the cell gate Tuesday dawn.

Speaking to the Regional Public Relations Officer Chief Inspector Augustine Kingsley Oppong, he said one of the inmates around 11pm Monday requested for water and in an attempt by the officer to attend to him, Abdulai Karim alias JJ, hit the officer with the gate aiding him to flee the custody.
