Ahafo NDC youth give Ursula Owusu three-day ultimatum to apologise to Collins Dauda

The Ahafo regional youth wing of opposition National Democratic Congress has criticised Ursula Owusu Ekuful, MP for Ablekuma West, for turning her anger on Collins Dauda, Asutifi South MP, on the floor of Parliament and issued a three day ultimatum to her to apologise to him.

It will be recalled that during the process to dissolve the seventh Parliament last Thursday night, Ursula in a struggle to get a chair in Parliament furiously pushed the chair that Collins was sitting on and this nearly made him to fall.

At a press conference in Goaso organized by the regional youth, the Ahafo regional NDC youth organizer, Masawudu Alhassan noted that Collins Dauda, ‘’one of the humble MPs in Parliament’’ felt embarrassed as colleagues teased him that a female MP had attacked and pushed him like a kid on the floor of Parliament.

Masawudu said the regional youth were therefore calling on Ursula to apologise to their MP or face their wrath in the form of massive demonstrations, a petition to the National Chief Imam and, President Akufo Addo and the Appointments Committee of Parliament to reject her nomination for any appointment to serve in government
